Travel Information

Aachen is located at the border of the Netherlands and Belgium in the very west corner of Germany. Aachen can easily be reached by car, train and from the major airports in its surroundings.

By train:
Frequent train connections to Aachen exist from within Germany, from Belgium and the Netherlands and also from France and Great Britain. From all other european countries direct links to the fast train system in Germany exist.

The Eurogress Centre can be reached via many of the major bus lines operated by ASEAG company. Bus lines 3 and 13 run from Aachen Main Trainstation to the Eurogress Centre at intervalls shorter than 10 minutes. Tickets can be purchased on the buses. Information and time tables on all other bus lines and destinations can be found at the information desk.

By car:
Aachen can be reached via the major highways A4 and A44. A map of the location of the Eurogress Centre and of the city of Aachen can be found here.

By plane:
Aachen is within easy reach from the major airports of Düsseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt an Brussels. When arriving at one of these airports, we recommend to take the train to Aachen. There are direct trains from Düsseldorf airport and convenient hourly connections from Cologne, Frankfurt and Brussels. Journey times from these airports vary between 1.5 and 2 hours.

The Eurogress Centre is conveniently located at the main ring road around the city centre. Underground parking and bus transportation is available. All major city centre locations are within 5 - 15 minutes walking distance.
